Hello APRIL! 🪻🌺
No matter where you're beginning this spring, you & I both know that having a plan is the key to getting to where you want to go. And this one is a good one - one that I stand behind 💯 because it not only transformed my relationship with food, but also provided me with practical tools to focus on when it comes to nutrition.
As always, this meal plan PDF download comes packed with nutrition tips, a food tracker, & principles of the Plate Method that helped me lose nearly 40lb postpartum while caring for a newborn + toddler. And they're full of the same meals I eat every week to keep the weight off and stay fueled for the chaos.
This month’s breakdown:
Breakfast
We have 2 trusty options this month, with a guide on page 3 on how to pick the best option each week. If you choose oats, I have included the simplest & most versatile recipe in the PDF, but have also included a link to my absolute fave recipes if you're switching it up.
Lunch
We again see our beloved no-prep option that I default to most weeks. But for those overachievers, we have a prepped option too. No matter which you choose, if you follow the Plate Method, you’ll still be set up for success with veggies to get you full, protein to keep you full, & healthy fiber-filled carbs (FFCs) to give you sustained energy throughout your day.
Dinner
Week 1 is probably my favorite, stacked with three of my family’s faves. Week 2 has a couple of new recipes & a hearty crockpot chili that will hopefully close out soup season (are we eating soup in summer?). But don’t hold me to that - I might throw one in for May too. Week 4 we see a double header for zucchini so be sure to grab those in bulk that week.
