Protein Reese's Cups
Everyone loves PB + chocolate...especially when it's got extra protein for your muscle mommy goals.
No introduction needed…
Athough I do recommend that you go ahead and double (triple) this recipe so you can have plenty of extra on hand.
Ingredients:
1/2 c peanut butter
2 tbs maple syrup
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tbs coconut oil
1/2 c dark chocolate chips
Steps:
Mix together all ingredients except chocolate chips and half of the coconut oil.
In microwave safe bowl, mix chocolate chips and other half of coconut oil.
In a silicone mold, spread a thin layer of melted chocolate to form the outer shell.
Place a spoonful of peanut butter filling inside each chocolate shell, then cover again with melted chocolate.
Place in freezer until firm (only a few mins), then remove from silicone mold.
Store in fridge or room temp (depending in your preferred texture).
